This is a prototype of a creative design project that I have been working on recently: a fully functioning umbrella with a filtering system that funnels water collected from the top to the bottom of the umbrella and into a detachable water bottle. The purpose of this design is for impoverished places that do not have easy access to water, or maybe even for an inevitable dystopian future. There are still many things to figure out and a long ways to go.

Version 2: I explored the option of replacing the funnel and having an indent on the top of the umbrella to capture water in a more natural way. (Scroll down to see).
